No Menu Restaurant @ Boon Tat Street

I haven’t craved Italian food since coming back from Rome… I think I kind of got sick of pastas and pizzas there? But I’m glad Dad suggested that we lunch at No Menu. We haven’t had any bad experiences at any of the Osvaldo Group’s Restaurants and this was not an exception.

Dad picked the pork chop, one of the many specials of the day (hence, “no menu”). The meat still had a good chew to it and lots of porky flavour. With meat so good, simple seasoning is enough.

My Ravioli stuffed with Burrata was very well done too. Pasta was al dente, the filling was milky and light (buffalo mozzarella has to be my favourite cheese!) , loved the fresh chopped tomatos that helped with the sweetness and acidity, and the buttery sauce brought all the flavours together.

We got a tiramisu to share, and they kindly gave us some of their green apple cake and meringues. A lovely end though nothing particularly rave-worthy.

I love how boisterous the crowd is at No Menu. Lots of white-collared workers eating away merrily. Now that’s how food should be enjoyed (:
