Tokyo 2014: Ginza Kagari for chicken stock- based ramen

Ginza Kagari is a tiny 8 -seater ramen-ya off the main street at Ginza. A queue is inevitable but it moved fairly quickly when we were there at about 11+. We tried both their best seller ramen with a creamy chicken broth, and their tsukemen which came with a bonito dipping broth. While both were good, I preferred the former. There is just something heart-warming about a creamy and non-oily chicken soup. Simple, but so delicious. The noodles were springy- very good for slurping. Portions aren’t huge (unless you go for the Tsukemen) so don’t share!
