Da Paolo Gastronomia’s Crodo

A crodo shaped like a gold coin. Plus points for creativity! haha.

My first time trying a crodo but there’s honestly really nothing much to rave about. For one, the custard wasn’t freshly pumped (couldn’t get the thought of a good cream puff out of my head) so the filling wasn’t chilled. That said, the texture of the crodo itself was pretty good and surprisingly (given how much oil and butter went into this) it didn’t leave any oily aftertaste.
