My favourite savoury foods are those that involve sugar. Naturally char siew is among the top of my list (just in case you didn’t know, sugar and honey are the main culprits)
Look at these bloated char siew sous. Yum. Full of sticky, sweet char siew. The Cantonese answer to bbq and teriyaki marinades! Unlike many places, the filling has quite a bit of sauce to it leaving it very moist. Plus points for being baked to order!
Anything char siew here is recommended. Char siew bao, char siew buns (only on sundays i think)… you get the drift 😉
