MACARONS FROM AROUND THE WORLD
The pictures below are in random order. My favourite goes to Pierre Herme’s macarons but really, all my macaron treats hold special memories for me; that’s why I love them all
Ladurée @ Champs Elysées, Paris

Jewels Artisan Chocolate @ Orchard Central, Singapore
Luxemburgli, Belgium
Pierre Herme @ St. Sulpice, Paris
TWG tearoom @ Ion Orchard, Singapore
Pierre Herme, Tokyo

Canelé Pâtisserie Chocolaterie @ Raffles City, Singapore

ET Artisan Sweets, Singapore

Ardeur, Hakata

Macarons again!
Top goes to …. Laduree macaron!
I bet pierre herme’s Ispahan macaron is better than laduree’s.
But having said that, the lauduree Ispahan ignited my love for the rose+lychee+raspberry combination xD Now I understand pierre herme’s fetish over all things Ispahan!
Yes yes, PH is definitely better than L!!! Ok, I’m just biased hahaha.
I totally agree
But Lauduree has the cutest packaging. I still have my purple and black macaron box from lauduree!
i vote for Ladurée.
Talk about keeping boxes, when I ate at Ladurée, the person at the next table rolled up the paper liner that had the Ladurée logo and brought it home with her!
Hahaha, they even have pretty receipts. I almost regret not keeping mine!
Next time you’re in NYC, check out Bouchon Bakery’s gigantor macarons. They’re about the size of three small ones. http://www.peekandeat.com/2010/04/bouchon-bakery-macarons.html
They remind me of my first ever chocolate macaron from a petrol kiosk in france. It was as big as my palm!
Hello! Stumbled upon your blog via Freshly Pressed. I love the idea of a macaron hall of fame. I recently tried making macarons. They did not turn out as beautiful as these pictures, but I will try again!
I failed before too, they are incredibly hard to make!
But I love it when someone surprises me with macarons
Never fails to make my day.
Wow! this is beautiful
Macarons are one of the most beautiful desserts ever
